Pete Firman joins Let’s Sing And Dance For Comic Relief 2017
Let’s Dance for Comic Relief is back for Red Nose Day 2017, now bigger and better than ever before as it has been supersized into Let’s Sing and Dance for Comic Relief. BBC One present more celebrities donning more fantastic outfits and learning more iconic dance routines for Comic Relief, but this time the brave celebrities will be facing double the challenge – dancing and singing!
Comedians Pete Firman and Ellie Taylor will take on a huge pop number from one of the UK’s biggest girl groups, Black Magic by Little Mix.
Pete says: "As a master of deception I've managed to hoodwink someone at the BBC into believing I can sing and dance. Whether I can fool a panel of judges and the great British public remains to be seen..."

ROSIE JONES joins ROAR Comedy
Rosie Jones is a highly in-demand researcher, a critically acclaimed stand up and a globe-trotting TV dynamo who was picked out at the end of 2016 by Metro as one of the Hilarious Women To Watch Out for In 2017 alongside Sharon Horgan and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. She also has cerebral palsy – a neurological condition affecting movement and coordination – but that doesn’t slow her down.
She has recently come back from the Funny Women Finals ("a clear audience favourite" Steve Bennett, Chortle) and from Rio where she was part of the team on Channel 4's The Last Leg. She has also worked on 8 Out of 10 Cats does Countdown, where she answered an open call from her boss for jokes for Jimmy Carr’s opening monologue. “Listening to Jimmy Carr saying my jokes was incredible” she says. “But it made me think ‘Oh! He’s getting my laugh! I wanted that’”
Despite her background in production, comedy is where Rosie’s heart lies: “For me comedy comes hand in hand with disability, because comedy breaks down the fear of disability.”
"Set to be big in 2017 with her hilariously accurate observations on people's reactions to disabled people" Metro
"Incredibly funny" Sara Pascoe
"Her cheekiness makes her a compelling performer...a clear audience favourite" Steve Bennett, Chortle
